MINERALS COMPANY (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1950.

		AN ACT TO AMEND SECTIONS 3 AND 5 OF THE MINERALS COMPANY ACT, 1947 [23rd March, 1950].
		BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:—
[GA]	“The Act of 1947”.	1. —In this Act, the expression “the Act of 1947” means the Minerals Company Act, 1947 (No. 35 of 1947).
[GA]	Amendment of section 3 of the Act of 1947.	2. —In subsection (1) of section 3 of the Act of 1947, the words “eighty-eight thousand pounds” shall be substituted for the words “fifty thousand pounds”.
[GA]	Amendment of section 5 of the Act of 1947.	3. —In subsection (2) of section 5 of the Act of 1947, the words “or of enabling the Company to purchase land and mineral rights therein” shall be inserted after the words “this section”.
[GA]	Short title and collective citation.	4. —(1) This Act may be cited as the Minerals Company (Amendment) Act, 1950.
[GA]		(2) The Minerals Company Acts, 1941 to 1947, and this Act may be cited together as the Minerals Company Acts, 1941 to 1950.
