1.—Beidh éifeacht ag an Industrial and Provident Societies Act, 1893, maidir le cónascadh dhá chumann chláraithe nó níos mó a bhfuil ar chuspóirí gach cumainn acu im, uachtar nó aon táirge eile déiríochta a mhonarú agus atá ag gabháil don mhonarú sin, amhail is dá scriosfaí “of not less than three fourths” in alt 51 (a).

Gearrtheideal, forléiriú agus comhlua.

2.—(1) Féadfar an tAcht um Chumainn Tionscail agus Soláthair (Leasú), 1971, a ghairm den Acht seo.

(2) Déanfar Achtanna na gCumann Tionscail agus Soláthair, 1893 go 1966, agus an tAcht seo a fhorléiriú le chéile agus féadfar na hAchtanna um Chumainn Tionscail agus Soláthair, 1893 go 1971, a ghairm díobh le chéile.

INDUSTRIAL AND PROVIDENT SOCIETIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1971

Amendment of Industrial and Provident Societies Act, 1893.

1.—The Industrial and Provident Societies Act, 1893, shall have effect, in relation to the amalgamation of two or more registered societies each of which has amongst its objects and is engaged in the manufacture of butter, cream or any other dairy product, as if “of not less than three fourths” were deleted in section 51 (a).

Short title, construction and collective citation.

2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Industrial and Provident Societies (Amendment) Act, 1971.

(2) The Industrial and Provident Societies Acts, 1893 to 1966, and this Act shall be construed together and may be cited together as the Industrial and Provident Societies Acts, 1893 to 1971.
